I'm an industrial designer focusing on physical objects and their interaction with humans. Connecting emerging technology to tangible products through physical characteristics is what led me to this career path.

In my formative years, I spent time in my grandpa's workshop, where he hand-crafted noodles. Observing the craft and dedication involved in transforming simple flour into intricate noodles taught me to appreciate the beauty of making and the time it takes to turn raw materials into meaningful artifacts.

Currently, I work as a product designer at design studio WertelOberfell in Berlin for clients such as BOSCH, De' Longhi, Gillette, Oral-B, and Siemens.

I am also open to freelance opportunities on a moderate scale across Europe and Taiwan. If you'd like to know more or request my portfolio, feel free to drop me a message at cy(at)cylee.works

Beyond working, I enjoy exploring projects across various media without commercial intentions. From designing objects for exploratory purposes and personal needs to capturing moments through digital and analog photography, these pursuits satisfy my curiosity and refine my perspective to life together with people around me.

While some creations are personal, I aim to share glimpses of them here for anyone who stumbles upon this site. My hope is that these works offer a small window into the things that shape and inspire me.
