Navigator

Navigator is a remote control concept helping professions like surgical doctor or construction worker to control robotic assistants with gesture and haptic feedbacks.

The navigator is a project of study. Originated from a plaster model, which was an object I did at the workshop for ergonomics study.

I found this object from the deep corner of my flat and it immediately aroused my interest since it has been quite a while to do a plaster model, as well as a question in mind: can I make a refinement for this old object with all my knowledge and skills I’ve acquired since then?

The result becomes a remote navigator which can be applied to fields like surgery or construction, where a robotic assistant can augment the performance while an operator’s ultimate control still required.
